Dr Ana Isabel Jiménez
Chief Executive Officer | Strategic Life Sciences Consultant | Biopharma Executive
Dr Ana Isabel Jiménez is the Chief Executive Officer of HealthTech Launchpad Studio, a Life Sciences executive and strategic advisor with more than 20 years of experience across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare innovation. Throughout her career, she has combined scientific expertise with executive leadership, operational management and business development, helping organisations transform innovative science into commercially successful healthcare solutions.
She has spent much of her career at Sylentis, a PharmaMar Group company, where she held senior leadership positions including Head of Research & Development, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. In these roles, she was responsible for the company’s overall strategy and operational performance, leading multidisciplinary teams across research and development, clinical development, regulatory affairs, quality, operations, finance and business development. As an executive leader and strategic advisor, Dr Jiménez has extensive experience across the entire biopharmaceutical value chain, from discovery research and pre-clinical development through to clinical development, regulatory strategy, intellectual property, GMP manufacturing and commercialisation. She has successfully led innovative therapeutic programmes into clinical development, established advanced manufacturing capabilities, overseen the design and implementation of a 12,000 m² GMP manufacturing facility, and driven organisational transformation, business growth and the development of new strategic initiatives.
Dr Jiménez holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, graduating Cum Laude with both the Extraordinary Doctorate Award and European Doctorate distinction. She further strengthened her executive leadership through the Executive Development Programme at EOI Business School and is currently completing the ESADE–PwC Board Directors Programme, specialising in corporate governance and board leadership.
As Chief Executive Officer of HealthTech Launchpad Studio, Dr Jiménez leads the company’s strategic vision and works closely with Biotech, Pharma, MedTech and HealthTech companies to accelerate innovation and business growth. She advises leadership teams on corporate strategy, product development, operational excellence, industrialisation, organisational transformation, strategic partnerships and commercial readiness. She has contributed to more than 300 international patents and remains actively involved in mentoring and executive education, helping the next generation of healthcare innovators bring transformative technologies to patients worldwide.
Dr Beatriz Llamusí
Co-founder | Chief Scientific Officer | Biotech Entrepreneur | Scientific AdvisorDr Beatriz Llamusí is a scientist, entrepreneur and healthcare innovator with extensive experience in rare diseases, drug development and translational medicine. Throughout her career, she has combined scientific excellence with entrepreneurial leadership, transforming academic research into innovative therapies and medical technologies that address significant unmet clinical needs.
She is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Arthex Biotech, a biotechnology company dedicated to the development of antisense RNA therapies for rare neuromuscular disorders. She also co-founded Spinally, a medical technology company developing innovative spinal cord stimulation solutions for pain management. As Chief Executive Officer of Arthex during its early growth phase, she led the company from inception through to a successful Series B ( €70 million ) financing round before transitioning to the role of Chief Scientific Officer.
As a scientist and entrepreneur, Dr Llamusí has extensive experience in translational research, intellectual property, product development and company formation. She has participated in several competitive innovation and acceleration programmes, gaining expertise in business development, regulatory strategy, financing and intellectual property management. She holds an Executive MBA, an MSc and a PhD in Biochemistry from Miguel Hernández University.
Dr Llamusí spent more than thirteen years as a researcher in genetics and neuromuscular diseases, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of rare diseases and the development of novel therapeutic approaches. She has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific publications, is the inventor of nine patents, and has supervised multiple doctoral research projects, contributing significantly to the advancement of rare disease research.
Through her scientific and advisory work, Dr Llamusí supports healthcare innovators, researchers and emerging companies in areas including scientific strategy, translational medicine, intellectual property, product development and innovation management. She is passionate about bridging the gap between science and commercial application, helping to transform research discoveries into meaningful healthcare solutions that improve patients’ lives.
Peter Gajecki

Peter Gajecki is a MedTech entrepreneur, executive and advisor with extensive experience building and scaling healthcare technology businesses. Throughout his career, he has combined commercial leadership with a passion for developing innovative technologies that improve patients’ lives and address significant unmet healthcare needs.
He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iVeeseeo, a pioneering MedTech company developing AI-powered wearable technology designed to enhance functional vision and independence for people living with severe visual impairment. Prior to iVeeseeo, Peter founded DoctorsWeb, an innovative healthcare technology company focused on telemedicine solutions connecting patients and healthcare professionals.
As a founder and business leader, Peter has guided healthcare ventures from concept through product development, commercialisation and market adoption. His expertise includes operations, business development, fundraising, strategic partnerships and building organisations capable of delivering both commercial success and meaningful patient impact.
Peter has extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders across healthcare, technology and investment sectors. Having navigated the challenges faced by early-stage companies first-hand, he understands the practical realities of transforming innovative ideas into scalable businesses and market-ready products. Through his advisory work, Peter supports MedTech and HealthTech founders in developing growth strategies, preparing for investment, building strategic partnerships and accelerating market entry. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs create sustainable businesses that combine innovation, commercial success and lasting improvements in patient outcomes.
Paweł Soluch
Co-founder | Consultant | MedTech Executive | Strategic AdvisorPaweł is a MedTech executive with a clinical and scientific background and more than 20 years of experience developing and commercialising innovative healthcare technologies. Throughout his career, he has specialised in translating complex scientific concepts into practical medical solutions, working across Class I, II and III medical devices, digital biomarkers and advanced healthcare technologies.
He has led the development of both implantable and non-invasive medical devices from concept through clinical validation and commercialisation. His expertise spans product development, regulatory strategy and market access across Europe, the United States and Canada, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the challenges involved in bringing innovative healthcare products to market.
As a Chief Operating Officer and strategic advisor, Paweł brings extensive experience in operational leadership, product strategy, regulatory planning, business development and international commercial growth. He has successfully built and scaled global sales operations as both a manufacturer and distributor, helping organisations navigate periods of rapid growth and transformation.
A strong advocate of people-centred leadership, Paweł has built and led multidisciplinary teams across engineering, clinical, regulatory and commercial functions. He has developed management frameworks and organisational tools designed to foster innovation, psychological safety, collaboration and high-performing company cultures.
Through his advisory work, Paweł supports MedTech founders, healthcare innovators and leadership teams in areas including product strategy, organisational development, strategic partnerships, fundraising and commercialisation.
